The Audi team officially competes in the 2023 Dakar Rally. The competition will start on 1 month 1 local time, with a total of 14 stages.

This is Audi's second appearance in Dakar. It also competes in the new energy category with the RS Q e-tron racing car, aiming to get on the podium.

It is reported that the three Audi partners are Mattias Ekström/Emil Bergkvist, Stéphane Peterhansel/Edouard Boulanger, and Carlos Sainz/Lucas.

For reference, Audi's RS Q e-tron E2 has been optimized in design, reducing weight by 100 kilograms. The new 10 spoke wheels are easier to handle, and the spare tire is easier to pick up, place and secure.
