At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the BAIC Motor BJ30 model officially started pre-sales, with a pre-sale range of 119,900-156,900 yuan. The new car offers two different power options. The gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T engine, and the HEV hybrid model uses an HEV hybrid system. Two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models are available.
In terms of appearance, the new BJ30 continues to adopt the classic square box design,continuing Beijing’s consistent off-road style. The front face adopts a large number of straight lines and rounded corners to create a sense of power of an off-road vehicle. In terms of details, the polygonal headlights on the front of the new car are integrated with the narrow-striped front grille, and are covered with transparent light housings to enhance the overall fashion sense of the vehicle. Under the front of the car, the new car adopts a thicker front bumper, which can also highlight the off-road genes.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid system. Officials say that the system has a combined maximum power of 206kW and a peak torque of 450 Nm. Its 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.54 seconds. Among them, the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 116kW, a peak torque of 235 N·m, and a thermal efficiency of 41%.
