On the occasion of the opening of the Guangzhou Auto Show, Bitauto's exhibition team took photos of a set of brand new Lexus GX. The new car is built on the GA-F platform, and its appearance adopts the latest family design language. The new Lexus GX incorporates new family-style design elements, and the shape is still full of muscle. In terms of front face shape, the new car uses a black banner grille with a guard plate in the middle to protect the vehicle off-road. There is also a grille air inlet extending downward on both sides, which is highly recognizable. The daytime running lights adopt an L-shaped design and also have three LED light sources inside. The lower front enclosure adopts a trapezoidal layout, and the front face still looks tough.
On the side of the body, the new car adopts a square design, which further enhances the overall muscular look of the new car. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are: 4950*1980*1865 mm, and the wheelbase is 2850 mm. Coming to the rear, like the new RX, the new Lexus GX adopts a through-type taillight under the new family design language. Above the taillight is the Lexus English letter logo. The tail shape is square and looks very tough. The new car will be available in 7 color schemes. At the same time, the new car will also launch an Overtrail version in the future, which will bring higher off-road capabilities and be equipped with exclusive functions and design elements.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a simple horizontal and vertical layout, which is more convenient for users to drive. The new car is equipped with a 14-inch central control screen, which is wrapped in leather and feels luxurious. The display screen integrates a large number of virtual buttons, but basic controls such as audio and air conditioning use physical buttons for easy operation. In addition, metal decoration runs through the entire central control, creating a sense of open and spacious space.
The new car offers a variety of second- and third-row seat layouts, and flexible second-row seats that users can choose according to their personal preferences. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with the newly released LEXUS Intelligent Safety System LSS+3.0 system, which supports functions such as the pre-collision safety system PCS and the lane departure warning system LDA.
In terms of power, the new car will provide two types of power, namely a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine and a 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid system.
