Ford officially stated that it will build a Mustang GT3 racing car to compete in the 2024 season. The new car is jointly produced by Ford Performance and racing partner Multimatic Motorsports and will use Ford's 5.0-liter V8 high-performance naturally aspirated engine.
It is reported that the Mustang GT3 racing car is also equipped with customized front and rear suspension, rear gearbox, carbon fiber body and aerodynamic kit that meets the requirements of GT3 competition. At the same time, Ford also stated that the GT4 racing car will also debut in the 2023 season.
In addition, the replacement Ford Mustang will be officially unveiled on February 6, 2022, U.S. time, and its high-performance version, the Mustang GT, will be released in 2023.
